CRIT+ field trip

i'm lucky! the 3th day critique is not so serious as it was in the 1st two days, tutors are all quite calm, haha, so it seems my submissions is at least ok, no need to resubmit! as kelly said i can have a good holiday la!

today we go for the field trip to URA center and ann siang hill. it is a photograph trip so i take a lot of photos. the buildings there are quite amazing although they are very old. i really like the mix and match of different styles, and i really wonder whether i'm in Aisa or Europe!

about the URA center. it's a place to decide what will happen or appear in singapore, what need to build or re-build and what have happened in singapore history. a nice place to go also and you can try to find your flat or house in their scaled model. in the following picture you can see the full view of singapore! quite cool, right?!

finish submit already!

today is the submission day, so obviously,after submission we are more closer to our holiday!~
but, we still have the crit, which is another chanllenge to me and my crit will start at next wednsday. i really hope the question can be easy, haha~~
besides the crit we will have a field trip and a furniture design competition. although i realil have no idea about the furniture design, i'll just try and do it for fun.
so i will update this blog in next week and show you the pictures i take. bye~~

start the tile painting!

i have basically finish the labyrinth model, and also teh showboard. i want to make them professional, but i'm not surr whether i can achieve them. haha~~

by the way, i have started working on the tile painting, which is the last project of the term. this project is not so hard as it is basically the same as Tessellation, however, it still takes a lot of time. today, i spend 3 hours doing it but still haven't finish!!~~so the the next 2 days, i will continue!

5 more days to work!

we change the submission day from monday to friday, so i have more time to complete my model.
however, i really don't like this change as i still believe everyone shoule follow the rule, no excuse! although i'm so glad that i have more time to improve my model, it is quite unfair to some people. i don' want this kind of thing will happen again!
come bake to the model. my friend said i shoule more elements and spaces in, but i still think less is more, i have the right to decide how is my model looks like. so i will just show some pictures of model with the humen figure. enjoy!

only several days left for making model, and of course, like most of my classmates, i haven't finish yet. it's really a big challenge to me as i have to consider a lot: scale, material, way to connect,shape, energy...once i start to think one element, i lost the others, so it's very hard to fine the balance point!
however, sometimes, i just tell myself that i am in yr 1, i have enough time to practise. yes, it's right! i cannot do it perfect, but i'll do it better after more practise.
design is not easy, making your design come ture is much more harder.just show some picture of my model which is not finish.

SO MANY THINGS TO SUBMIT! well, it's nice that i have already finish 80%of them, so in the following 2 weeks i should only work on the final model and tiles. Oh, GOD, help me to do so!hahaha...

by the way, i don't know the time to submit INTECH and TOD journals, maybe also these weeks la.
