less is more!

i just finish my 5th model, which is my favourate one until now.
i basically follow the pattern i have chosen and modify some part which is not suitable.
comparing with the pervious model with ZO card, this one has a better shape( not looks like a box anymore!), has more volume, includs both vertical and horizontal elements, while the flat is less and the space becomes more!
the cool thing of this model is i transfer the element from floor to wall to ceiling, but i'm so confusing whether it can achieve in the final model with timber! i hope can la!

from model to building

after finish the 3 model based on tessellation, we get a new assignment: base on the favourate model, do a new one with architecture elements(e.g. floor, ceiling, wall, staircase). it's quite a challenge and also very very fun. i'll show the images of my model later includes the design process, please ignore the frame made by saday stick, 'cause it is no sense of the whole design. after this model, it seems i have to redo a new one which improve from this one, and i MUST finish it on this friday! crazy right?

new work in new week!

this week we are going to make study model. i have to say that it is quite unimaginable!! how can 2d picture become 3d model?? the small and simple pattern i drew 2 weeks ago in ontography became teseellation, then becomes model now, and maybe one day it can become a real building!! haha~~kidding la~
i have a lot of things to show today, very nice o!

tessellation!

we spend another 2 weeks work on the new project: tessellation. actually, it is not totally new, because we are asked to select the interesting part on ontography as the basic and origin pattern of tesselation. to be honest, this project is much more harder than i had thought and it really need a lot of time. and it's also the reason why we should spend 2 weeks to finish only 3 pieces. the 3 pieces of tesselation are in color, tone(black,grey and white) and pattern.i only take the photo of the tone one, and i'll upload another two later.please enjoy it!

ontography!

within all the two weeks, we are doing the ontography- don't think, just draw!
but how can i stop thinking? can i control my brain? if i can, i don't need to stay in the class any more. however, at least i finish 6pieces of A1 drawing....terrible!! and i hope i have met the request!

i will show some pictures of my ontography which are original and also some detail-pictures which is PSed! just have fun, don't try to guess what i was drawing, 'cause it's no sense!

Some work of term 1

besides the pingpang ball disign and brick boy. we did another 4 design last term. they are: wire design, box design, ruaasian doll design and peek-boo. i'll display the russian doll and box design today. wish you will like! and in the 2nd term, we may start to do some design which is relevant to interior design. i'll post the design process in the future.3Q!
