Eliane, happy wedding day!

DEC. 5th, 2008 is Eliane's Wedding Day! What can we do for her?!~~

everyone in 04 and 05 contributes money to buy her a gift, which is a nice necklace, i do hope she will like it.

Besides, everyone draws a cute A6 size wedding card which will be combined toghther into a book. i'm sure, it must be a precious gift!~~

art loves design

spending me more than 15 hours, i finally finish the TOD assignment- art loves design, which is also a part of this year's final project. the designer i chose is Vera Wang, top Fashion Designer especially in gown industy.

from researching, reading, writing ,layouting and final printing, it is quite a long process. i'm quite confidence now that i almost know every single thing about Wang, much than she know about herself.haha.

the Printout Board is a little different from my expectation, as the color is a litter grey. maybe it's a good excuse to buy a new laptop~~

i got these pictures from Sarah, and they are really amazing! can you imagin they are just A4 size papers? Crazy, right?!~ sometimes, pure and simple staff can create incrediable design. her can, she can, we can, why can't you?!

finish our machine!

after 2 days of hard-working, we have finished our machine already!~

quite different from the previous Idea and Concept, we take away hearing and enhance sight this time. i really hope it will be ok!~

in this model, we use some physics princeples, and wear it on arm which can provide a reasonable distance of seeing.the site our chose is in theatre, where always got the shows!~just image how sad it will be if you watch a show but cannot hear anything~~the machine will help you a lot!

the unaccepted mock up!

Danni, sarah and i are quite lost now! we spend the whole day think, sketch and do the mock up of our project but it is unwanted!

why,why, why! who can tell...are we on the wrong direction?!

how can the tutor said "no, it's not what we want", then all our effort gone!

the whole idea is a person with all the senses gone but sight left only--we try to enhance the sight and show him the deeper world around.

our machine can produce a succession of symmetrical design by means of mirrops reflecting the environment around.

the IDEA module

we got the Idea module this monday, it aims to enhance our creation. As design school, we connect this module to DS, and focus on how can our creation been used in/on our body.it's quite interesting, and we did a in class exercise which is "using a wire to create a objects which can wear on body". i made a wire-sunglass( as shown),so simple~but very fun.

In the next two weeks, we will have a final project, which is also focus on our body and senses.i'll talk more in the next post.so see you~
